My name is Mariama and I'm a home carer. I care for people in their own homes, providing help with things like eating, drinking, dressing, and moving around. I've been doing this for about eight years now and I love it. I think the best thing about my job is being able to help people stay independent. I really enjoy watching people flourish and grow in their own homes.
I'm a friendly and caring person, and I think that's what helps me in this line of work. I love making people feel comfortable and at ease. I'm also patient and helpful, so if someone needs a little bit of extra support, I'm happy to give it.
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, cooking and baking, and socialising with friends. I also like watching TV and listening to music. I have a fish tank at home, so I'm happy to care for pets too.
